LYN400 flashing light, max watts?

I remember a post on the old forum, asking what is the max rating in watts for the blub that can be powered by the 240v output for the flashing light, that operates during gate opening and closing.
I would like to power a 50W bulb, is this to much? Cheers Andy

The Max Rated Bulb For The Liftmaster FLA230 flashing light unit is 40w
