We live in a barn conversion and would like to have a wooden farm/field gate. We don’t have the depth for a swinging gate but plenty of room for sliding.
I can’t see anything off the shelf, nor can I find anyone with any experience of fitting these but I assume it can be done.
I can see plenty of sliding gate kits, how hard would it be to get something like this working? We have an electrician who is experienced in wiring up automated gates, it’s more the logistics of connecting the motor to the gate and getting the sliding hardware to function.
